My name is Lindsey Harrison. Welcome to my class page for EMAT 6680. I am originally from a small town called Auburn, GA where I went to Apalachee High School. For my undergraduate studies I went to Georgia College & State University located in Milledgeville, GA. In May of 2014 I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Mathematics Degree with a Teaching Concentration. My favorite math classes include Number Theory, Abstract Algebra, and Graph Theory. While at Georgia College I was a member of the Math Club for three years and a sister in Kappa Delta Sorority for four years. I was employed by the college as a Supplemental Instructor for one semester in a Quantitative Skills & Reasoning course and three semesters in a Calculus I course. Fall 2014 marks my first semester in the MAT Mathematics Education program at the University of Georgia. I would love to teach mathematics to upper level high school students or possibly at a smaller community college. I am also excited to learn more about the Athens community.
